In celebration of international Make Music Day, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will share a global broadcast of its performance of Verdi’s Requiem live from the Sydney Opera House. With the support of Create NSW, ABC Classics, Sydney Opera House Creative Learning, Music Australia and the Australian Music Association.

The Parkes Library SSO Make Music Day live streaming event will commence at 6pm with a performance by members of the Lachlan Community Orchestra and Parkes Shire Concert band, and Manager Cultural, Education & Library Services, Shellie Buckle, is inviting the community to attend this first-time event.

Join the Library team, Orchestra and Band members for a glass of wine, light supper and enjoy this amazing opportunity to attend a Sydney Symphony Orchestra in our home town.
