2018 Curiosity + Wonder = Parkes Fun Palace

The global Fun Palaces movement believes in the genius in everyone, in everyone an artist and everyone a scientist, and that creativity in community can change the world for the better.

Parkes Library will become the Parkes Fun Palace on Saturday 22 August, opening its doors from 9am to 3pm. No bookings required.

The family friendly day will feature experiments, games and art.

Also included in the day will be a visit by Ian from Fun Day Out who is bringing his Adventure Quest and trash percussion sessions to the Coventry Room:

Adventure Quest

9:30am and 11am in the Coventry Room

An interactive show based on the ideals of the ‘Pick a Path’/’Choose Your Own Adventure’ novels and combines music, storytelling, drama and dance together in one great show.

Space is limited so bookings are required.

Trash Percussion

1pm in the Coventry Room

An exciting, vibrant and all-inclusive style of percussion designed with the view that anything and everything can be a musical instrument.
