Walking Tracks Brochure
Inside the walking track brochure you will find three suggested tracks to guide you around the Parkes Shire Township highlighting significant sights along the way. Enjoy parks with play & exercise equipment, dog friendly areas, native wildlife, themed gardens, bush scenery and magnificent views.
The Culture Walk
Start your walk at the Henry Parkes Centre and stroll down the main street experiencing our vibrant community town. Grab a coffee and spot all the public art along the way. Finish back at the Henry Parkes Centre and check out the exhibitions we have on offer.
Scenic Peace Walk
This is a great walk to let your dog off for a run and enjoy the native flora and fauna. Start and finish at Memorial Hill and if you still have some energy left, don’t miss the walk to the top for magnificent views, beautifully themed gardens and our very special War Memorial.
The Big One
Start and finish points are at the Kelly Reserve carpark. This one takes you all the way around town offering spectacular views over the eastern plains. You can even add more to the trip with offshoots around Bushmans Hill trail and Memorial Hill.
