Adavale Lane Community Hall

Kick off
spring with a night of absolute fun, re-live your prime years, the 70’s &
80’s predigital culture.  1970’s
disco, funk, peace, vinyl records, earthy tones, bell bottoms, flower power,
wide collars, flares & long hair. 1980’s video games (space
invaders) fluoro, cassettes, oversized shoulder padded blazers, shiny lycra
pants, big teased hair, leg warmers, mini skirts, polka dots, big bows, tight
shorts & mullets. Or experience the best times to have lived! Adavale Lane
Community Hall will be transformed back in time with disco mirror balls,
glowing things, decorations and backdrops.

We’re
having a Glitter & Glow Night at Adavale Lane Community Hall on
Saturday 12th September 2026, so dress up for the occasion in 70’s or
80’s disco fashion, there are great prizes to be won! WildKatz will be
playing all of your favourite songs from these 2 decades.

Dinner will be provided—a feast starting with continuous grazing
boards then onto a smorgasbord of fun favourites, lamb & gravy rolls,
sausage & onion buns, sweet & sour beef ball, chicken Korma and rice.
Finishing off with a delicious array of cakes and slices.

BYO Drinks

Free Bus from Parkes, leaving Cook Park at 6.00pm to arrive at
Adavale Lane Community Hall by 6.30pm. Leaving Adavale lane Community Hall at
11.00pm to return back to Parkes at 11.30pm. Limited numbers, book your seat on
the bus on Trybooking.

Mick &
Vanessa – WildKatz, who live just up the road from Adavale Lane
Community Hall will get you all up dancing and feeling good, will be a
lot of fun!

There will
be a Jumping Castle for the kids and cool Photo Backdrop (photobooth)
opportunities. Fire drums out the back to keep you snug and catch up with
everyone over a few drinks

Cost is $50 per ticket, $100 per family (good for 2 adults and
2 children -16 yrs and younger) & $20 per child.

Time: Starts at 6.30pm, ends around 11.00pm, but welcome to stay longer.
