Book Launch: ‘Tree Change – An Innocent’s Progress’
by Dr Rick Newton
Dr Rick Newton moved with his wife Barbara Newton, and their two children to Tullamore 21 Years ago. Rick and Barb have immersed themselves in the rural community and have made extraordinary friendships, and had many unique experiences!
After tragically losing two of their dearest friends from Tullamore, Rick decided to record some of the stories as a fledging farmer, to raise money for research into brain cancer and stroke prevention. The humorous short stories are about the unusual situations farmers can find themselves in unexpectedly.
Illustrator, Helen Gray is a teacher and ‘accidental’ farmer from Trundle.
TREE CHANGE will be available for purchase for $20 each. A selection of the original sketches for the book will go up for auction on the night. All proceeds will go towards brain cancer and stroke prevention research.
