50th Anniversary Plaque Unveiling

Continuing the 50th anniversary celebrations, there will be a formal plaque unveiling with The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers at the CSIRO Parkes Observatory.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is an international non-profit, professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. The IEEE Milestones program honors significant technical achievements in all areas of electrical and electronic engineering. After approval by the IEEE Board of Directors, a bronze plaque commemorating the achievement is placed at an appropriate site with an accompanying dedication ceremony.
