The Male Bag Foundation’s October 2018 ride will overnight in Parkes. To support the riders and their fund-raising, the local Prostate Awareness and Support Group will host a community dinner.

Who are the Male Bag Riders?

Back in 2011, a couple of men decided to ride from Perth to Melbourne on old postie bikes to raise awareness and funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. A plan was hatched, and grew. The 2018 ride will cover 2000km in 9 days.  Postie bikes are limited to 80kph, which makes it an outing with a difference.

The Male Bag Foundation are currently raising funds to enable the purchase of Trans Perinial Biopsy machines for placement in Public Rural Regional Hospitals. These machines greatly improve the lives of men dealing with prostate related issues.
