There are no problems with angle parking in Trundle - Forbes Street is Australia's widest main street, measuring 60 metres across.

Situated 55km north-west of Parkes, Trundle is a rural community, with production consisting mostly of wheat, sheep and cattle farming.

Trundle is well positioned within the Parkes Shire to take advantage of job opportunities at the progressive Northparkes Mines, a major employer in the Shire. Just an easy 40 minute drive away from Northparkes, Trundle offers affordable real estate, excellent schools and a relaxed lifestyle.

Experiences

Trundle Hotel - A historic landmark in Trundle, the two storey hotel was built in 1909 out of pise mud, rendered with cement and adorned with an 87 metre long wooden verandah which claims to be the second longest in Australia.  Today the hotel offers a great spot for a drink, counter meal or accommodation.

Trundle ABBA Festival - Held annually on the first Saturday in May. The Trundle ABBA Festival offers a great day of music, including international ABBA cover bands. There are great prizes for all competitions including Fashions of the Festival and Disco Dancing.

Trundle Bush Tucker Day - September is a great month to visit Trundle, timing your visit with a great day of fun at the Trundle Bush Tucker Day.  Every year the event dishes up a day of fun for participants and spectators, featuring bush cooking competitions, billy boiling sprint, damper throw, live bands and a wholesome program of bush entertainment.

Black Range -  This is an ideal spot to go bush walking or bird watching. It offers a peaceful and quiet place to enjoy the picnic ground facilities.

Recreational Facilities - Bring your clubs for a round at the Trundle Golf Club featuring an 18 hole golf course with sand greens. The public swimming pool is open in the summer months, offering a 50 metre lap pool and baby pool. Berryman Oval is home to Trundle's sport playing fields and features a BBQ area with play equipment.
