Computers and Friends – An exhibition with a new direction

Artist Sean James Cassidy has embarked on a journey of learning and discovery. In this exhibition, he brings together skills in animation and design to produce posters and moving visual representations influenced by his upbringing in Parkes.

The works are an investigation of self, family and connection to ancestral lines. The poems Blood Moon and Radio Telescope were written by Sean’s aunt, Kerrie Peden.

Included in the exhibition is a video installation showing the now famous Junkyard Drum Kit which was exhibited here last year. The video has been selected as a finalist in the international Shure Drum competition.
