Beethoven’s 9th, Live from the Sydney Opera House

Beethoven impressed audiences with a symphony that was grand, impressive, with full orchestra and choir. More than that, with his Ninth Symphony, Beethoven aspired to speak for humanity, to be a voice for freedom and to communicate through music a vision of optimism and joy.
