Briefing Sessions for Inland Rail’s Parkes to Narromine Project

The Australian Government is delivering Inland Rail through the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), in partnership with the private sector.

ARTC will later this year begin construction of the first section of Inland Rail between Parkes and Narromine. The preferred contractor is INLink, a joint venture between BMD Constructions and Fulton Hogan. If you live or work between Parkes and Narromine, you may begin to see construction-related activities from September onwards.

ARTC is committed to working with communities, landowners and local businesses as they build Inland Rail. The project team will be holding community drop-in sessions over the coming weeks to introduce the INLink team and talk about what their work will involve.

Drop-in sessions will be held at both the Peak Hill and Parkes Shows on 22 August and 28-29 August respectively.

In addition, the project team will be at the Inland Rail Shopfront, 290 Clarinda Street, Parkes on 11 September (5-7:30pm) and the Peak Hill Ex-Services Club on 12 September (5-7:30pm).
