Flora and Fauna Identification Walk & Talk
Event Info
Spend the morning exploring…
The Wellington Road Travelling Stock Route (TSR) is a spectacular sight. This reserve lines the road corridor along the Renshaw McGirr Way heading to Wellington and contains a number of environmental features and assets. The site is Box-Gum Grassy Woodland – an Endangered Ecological Community (EEC). Reserves such as this are often the last remaining examples of common woodlands, grasslands, shrublands and contain important habitat for wildlife such as mature hollow trees and understory plants. Aboriginal and European cultural heritage features are also commonly found. Join Central West Local Land Services staff and Mikla Lewis as they explore this beautiful native bushland.
