Be part of the Inland Astro-Trail Symposium and AGM to discuss the proposed Inland Astro-Trail in south-eastern Australia’s rural inland.
If you’re into astronomy, astro-tourism, local government, cultural heritage, economic development and/or STEAM Outreach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) then this event is for you.
A whole day of guest speakers and lively discussion about linking sites of astronomical significance between Narrabri and Canberra along the Inland Astro-Trail and what this could mean for inland communities.
A Big Skies Collaboration initiative co-hosted by Inland Astro-Trail Inc, Destination Country and Outback, CENTROC, Parkes Shire Council, Art OutWest, University of Canberra, Australian National University and other partners.
The symposium will be followed by Inland Astro-Trail Inc’s first AGM and election of a new committee, dinner at The Dish Cafe, Parkes Radio Telescope, and stargazing until late.
