To the Moon and Back Art Workshop

This 2 day workshop is for 12-17 year olds with a genuine interest in art. Participants will engage in art workshops at the Little Art Company and the artworks will be showcased at an art exhibition for the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 Moon Landing celebrations.

There will be an official exhibition opening on July 18 and the exhibition will be open to the public for the two weeks during July at the Cedar Cafe.

Experienced local artist Leanne Wilson will lead the workshops, providing participants with art tuition (in planning, drawing, painting techniques and application).

More detail:

♦ Places are strictly limited, book early to secure a place

♦ Produce an original artwork on the theme of the moon landing, learning how to plan, draw and pain their ideas on canvas 50cm x 60cm

♦ Participants are expected to attend both workshops and will be invited to attend the official opening

♦ No previous formal art training or experience is required as full instruction will be given during the workshop process to stimulate creativity and learn art and design skills.  However participants are expected to have a genuine interest in art.
