Be curious!
2018 Curiosity + Wonder Workshop = Creative Crochet
To quote the great late Albert Einstein “Curiosity is more important than knowledge”.
In the pursuit of curiosity Parkes Library celebrates authors, books, science, art and creativity in August and September each year.
Revive an old craft with crochet expert Kelly McGirr and learn all about crocheting.
Over two Saturdays you will learn:
♦ basic crochet techniques
♦ the most common stitches and
♦ how to read patterns.
You must be able to attend both sessions.
At the end of the workshop, you will have created your own crochet pieces for your enjoyment.
Where: Parkes Library
When: Saturday 8 and 15 September, 10am to 4pm
Cost: $10. Bookings required with payment at Parkes Library.
