  • Murriyang, CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope (The Dish): While pets aren’t allowed inside the visitor centre, the grounds are open for leashed dogs, so you can still check out this iconic landmark!
  • Memorial Hill: A peaceful spot with panoramic views of Parkes, perfect for a leashed walk and a quiet moment of reflection.
  • Kelly Reserve Recreational Park: A shady, open park ideal for picnics and playtime. Dogs are welcome and there is even an off-leash area.
  • Bushmans Hill & Wiradjuri Ampitheatre: This historic site offers walking trails and native bushland, great for exploring with your furry friend.
  • Parkes Aviation Museum: Located at the regional airport, this museum allows leashed pets. It’s a unique stop for aviation enthusiasts and curious pups.

  • Gates of Graceland: A tribute to Elvis Presley, this quirky photo op is located outside the Henry Parkes Centre and is accessible to leashed pets. Snap a selfie with your pup in front of the iconic gates!
