Outdoor Fun
There are plenty of parklands and open spaces that welcome pets on a leash, however if you want to give them some off-leash freedom, there is a dedicated Off-Leash Space above Spicer Oval off Bushman Street and at Kelly Reserve's dog park.
Dining Out
Many of our local cafes and restaurants cater for pets and companion animals with alfresco areas and water bowls, just enquire when you arrive.
Take the Lead
Parkes Shire Council encourages pet owners to 'take the lead' and be responsible pet owners ensuring safety of fellow visitors and community members through appropriate enclosures, leashes, vaccination and of course, don't forget to 'scoop the poop'.
