Sculptures, murals and art installations create a trail throughout the CBD. Artwork themes include:

• A Stellar Constellation of Art - Artist Sean James Cassidy uses images of Parkes that are woven throughout his artworks depicting the town’s evolution and links to astronomy. The artworks form part of a multi-media experience featuring songs by Jason Nacho Murchie and poetry by Jim Cassidy and Kerrie Peden.
• Astronomy - Parkes links with space and and science through the world famous CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope “The Dish” which is represented across a series of installations including a female astronaut which also reflects the importance we place on gender equality. Artwork by Jac Clark
• Astrophotography -a celebration of astrophotographers who have featured throughout the history Parkes' 'AstroFest' and annual David Malin awards.
• Sir Henry Parkes - Parkes’ namesake, Sir Henry Parkes, is also known as the Father of Federation. Sculpture by Terrance Plowright
• Elvis - “The King” is featured due to the success of the annual Parkes Elvis Festival which attracts visitors from far and wide, murals by Jac Clark, sculptures by Terrance Plowright.
• Priscilla - taking inspiration from the Elvis era with her famous chic style that you may see many of wandering around Parkes in January. Artwork by Jac Clark
• Literacy - Parkes’ commitment to literacy has been an outstanding achievement with programs such as Paint the Town REaD, REaDtember. Artwork by Jac Clark
• Wiradjuri - a celebration of Parkes' indigenous culture and reconciliation. Artworks by Wiradjuri artist Scott ‘Sauce’ Towney who specialises in drawing and pyrography.
• Community Art - An interchanging wall of art that provides a unique opportunity for local artists to showcase their exhibitions.

Located 35 minutes north of Parkes on Newell Hwy, two public art installations feature along Caswell St:

• Wiradjuri Cultural Astronomy, Commercial Gardens, corner Caswell and Dugga Streets - artwork Sauce Towney, a local Wiradjuri Artist hailing from Peak Hill. For more than 60,000 years Aboriginal peoples have used astronomical knowledge in such a way that has generationally informed culture, social structures and traditions. These artworks are an interpretation of certain stars and constellations of the traditions of the Wiradjuri People of central New South Wales. The Wiradjuri are the ‘People of the Three Rivers’: Macquarie (Wambool), Lachlan (Calare) & Murrumbidgee (Murrumbidjeri) Rivers
• Melvin the Ram, Corner of Mingelo Street - artwork by Jac Clark. Melvin the Ram reflects the town's golden heritage, the connection that the community of Peak Hill and surrounding district holds with the land, and the town’s prided claim to fame – their prized Merino sheep.

Located 20 minutes west of Parkes on the Henry Parkes Way, installation on the Memorial Hall, Hutton Street (the Bogan Way).

This community art installation feature key icons of the township from its continued links to agriculture to its history and involvement in times of war.

Located 45 minutes north-west of Parkes through Bogan Gate; Art installation in main street at the Library.

Trundle through young eyes

Local Trundle Artist Helen Gray curated this collection of artworks, which involved engaging local school students and community members on a journey through art workshops to develop a series on how they see their community.  These pieces encapsulate the vibrancy and sense of connection that the artists have with their town.
