The Parkes Shire Library offers a variety of engaging activities and exhibitions for kids throughout the year, making it a great stop for families visiting the region.

Some of the activities on offer include:

• Storytime Sessions: Held on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am during school terms, these are perfect for children aged 3–5 (younger kids welcome too).
• School Holiday Programs: Special events like themed craft mornings and move nights.
• Creative Workshops: The Marramarra Makerspace Studio inside the library features 3D printers, sewing machines, and craft supplies for hands-on fun.
• Family-Friendly Facilities: The library is welcoming to all ages, with quiet reading areas, free Wi-Fi, and accessible amenities.
